The LORD Our Righteousness

The General Association of Branch Davidian Seventh Day Adventists, also known as The Branch Davidians, suffered a military style attack and a 51-day siege from Februry 28 to April 19, 1993, resulting in the loss of 84 members and it's appointed leader on April 19, by slaughter and fire. With the death of Vernon Howell (aka David Koresh) and many of his followers, the Branch Davidians were left without a leader and an Executive Council.
Victor Houteff, the founder of the Davidian Seventh Day Adventist Movement, had established a governing board for the Association known as the Executive Council. He also had drawn up a set of By-Laws which stipulated that the leadership would consist of a President which could be selected or chosen only by God Himself (an inspired person or prophet with a Present Truth Message). The President would then have the authority to select the other individuals who would make up the Executive Council, the governing body of trustees for the Church/Association.
In spite of knowing this, the survivors of The Branch Davidian Seventh Day Adventists decided to set up by election a board of trustees to act as the Executive Council. They felt this would circumvent the need to declare themselves led by a prophet or by God. However, there were Branch Davidian members who did not follow Koresh into apostasy and were "sighing and crying for the abominations" done in the Church (see Ezekiel 9) by its leadership, and were stressing the need for a Divinely-appointed leader to head the Church and restore true worship to the movement. One was a man by the name of Charles Joseph Pace who was a member of the General Association of BDSDA since 1973, under Benjamin Roden's tenure in the Church.
On April 17, 1984 Charles went through the Church and marked those that were sighing and crying against the abominations being perpetrated by its leadership as outlined in Ezekiel Chapter 9 (Read the full account in The Jonah Message on this site). Charles declared before the church leaders that Vernon Howell had begun a the prophesied movement within the Advent Movement "that sets God and Christ as a nonentity", fulfilling what was outlined in the publication, Omega to One of the Most Subtle Delusions, by Ellen White in her Diary, # 48, pp. 153, 163, August 1904. Victor Houteff, Benjamin Roden, and Lois Roden had also prophesied and warned the congregation that apostasy would rear it's ugly head and that "Christ the Word, in the BRANCH Message and Movement would be crucified afresh when the leaders (Executive Council) chose to follow the interpretations of a man, David Koresh, instead of accepting the inspired Truth brought by Inspriation.
At about 12:15 pm on April 19, 1993, nine years to the day and hour after (April 17, 1984) Charles Pace declared to Vernon Howell that he was leading this apostate movement and that the Judgment within the House of God would begin, as outlined in 1 Peter 4:17 and with the slaughter of Ezekiel Chapter 9. Vernon stood up, put his arm around Charles and declared, "This brother is teaching Truth." Then sat down and continued listening to the study.
"Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house." - Ezekiel 9:6
Charles began writing letters to the survivors' board of trustees, led by Clive Doyle, calling for reform, which they chose to reject. Nevertheless, those who listened to Charles Pace were soon reorganized according to the By-laws of the Church outlined by Victor Houteff in the Leviticus and elaborated by Benjamin Roden in his Branch Supplement. Charles Pace was not only baptized (1981) and ordained (1984) by Lois Roden, but she agreed that he had a divinely inspired message for the church about the Holy Spirit, the Bride of Christ. Consequently, when Vernon Howell no longer was to lead the church, because he received Divine Judgment as prophesied, Charles became its Divinely appointed leader.
According to its By-laws, the Church was to be revived, reorganized and reformed after it underwent a purification by having its leadership slaughtered and its headquarters burned to the ground.
Charles has claimed to be the Divinely appointed leader, taking on the title, "Joshua, the man whose name is Branch," as outlined in the By-laws and Branch Supplement. The reorganized church takes on a New Name, The BRANCH, The LORD (YHVH) Our Righteousness after the purification of it's apostate leadership who rejected Christ the BRANCH and chose to follow a man declaring himself the lamb of God.
The denominational name (Seventh-day Adventist) is dropped and "left as a curse" since the LORD sends His servants to work outside the confines of organized or man-made denominational boundaries. The denominations are no longer under the direction of the LORD, but are directed by man, making them a cursed place devoid of the Spirit of God and full of the spirit of man. These organized religious bodies will all be governed by the One World Order and become a part of Babylon the Great, not the Kingdom of God (YHVH).
